Cycle Week 21 March 2018
CUH, CIT, UCC took part in a lunch time cycle today to mark the end of a successful campus cycle week. The lunch time cycle brought 12 cyclists through greenways from CIT all the way to the lee fields. The Campus Cycle Week takes places twice a year to highlight the many positives of cycling to college/work. The Week emphasises cycling’s benefits—from environmental and financial to general health and well-being. The Week shows that that commuter cycling plays a positive role in relieving parking pressure, reducing land use, and minimising an institution’s overall environmental impact.
