Maternity & Neonatal Social Work
It is recognised that the birth of a new baby can be a stressful time for a variety of reasons. Staff of the Maternity Social Work Department provide a counselling and support service for expectant parents. They work closely with other professionals both within the hospital and with those based in the community. There is also a dedicated Social Work service for the neonatal unit.
