UCC Medical Grand Rounds 2016/2017
CUH Grand Rounds are held Wednesday lunchtimes from 13:00-14:00 in the Main Auditorium, during term time. The usual format is a 40-45 minute presentation, with 10-15 minutes for Q & A. The lectures attract a large audience of hospital staff from all disciplines (medical, nursing, laboratory, pharmacy, therapy, etc.) and undergraduate students. The series is designed to bring high quality, up-to-date and clinically useful information to health professionals. They are video-conferenced to other hospitals in the city and county, including the Mercy University Hospital, Mallow, Bantry, Kerry and South Tipperary General Hospitals, and Marymount University Hospital and Hospice. Link in from other hospitals/individuals is welcome and anyone wishing to do so should contact the Postgraduate Medical Education Department.
