Finding Your Way Around the CUH Campus & Other Locations

Where is my nearest carpark? 

I am attending Outpatients: Turn right on entering the main gate. Continue on past the Emergency Department (ED) on your left, follow the road to the end entering the public car park. (Car Park No. 9 on CUH Campus Map) Entrance to Outpatients is via the ED entrance. If you need to transport somebody into the hospital from the car by wheelchair, this can be arranged by speaking to the staff at the Outpatients check in desk. Drop off facility available outside the ED building.

I am attending X-Ray Department: Turn right on entering the main gate. Continue on past the Emergency Department (ED) on your left, follow the road to the end entering the public car park. (Car Park No. 9 on CUH Campus Map) Drop off facility available outside the ED building.  

I am attending the Main Hospital Ward Block: Turn left on entering the main gate. Follow the road to the top of the hill and follow the road around to the right. The main public car park is on your right. (Car Park No. 1 on CUH Campus Map) 

I am attending the Cardiac Renal Centre (CRC): Turn left on entering the main gate. Follow the road to the top of the hill and follow the road around to the right. The main public car park is on your right. (Car Park No. 1 on CUH Campus Map) 

I am attending Cork University Maternity Hospital (CUMH): Turn right on entering the main gate. Turn immediate left and down the concrete ramp to the underground CUMH public car park. 

 

Disabled Parking 

As per CUH Campus Map there is designated parking for those with special needs provided at various locations throughout the campus. These locations are strictly policed and members of the public are requested to respect them. 

Long Term Parking

Visitor and long term patients may be facilitated for discount parking in special circumstances. This can be organised by speaking to a member of Security Staff.

 

Parking Charges

The current parking charge is €2.70 per hour subject to a daily maximum charge of €15. A reduced daily charge of €10 is available to patients, carers and visitors by contacting a member of the Security department in person or Tel. 021 4922118.

Pay stations are located at the steps leading to the main hospital entrance and to the rear of the Glandore centre which serve the ED and Outpatients car parks. All pay stations accept both cash and card payments. 

If necessary, measures such as clamping are in place to police parking in unauthorised areas.
